A message from temple president, Robin Bass

Welcome to Reform Temple of Putnam Valley. We are a small, friendly congregation in beautiful Putnam Valley. We offer many opportunities for individuals and families, from services and workshops to social events and social action. Our dues are very low compared to most congregations, and we want to keep it that way. However, that also means we depend on the generosity of our community and friends to help fill the gaps. Please consider making a donation to honor a lifecycle event, a loved one or as part of our annual giving.

Month at a Glance

• Friday, June 6 – Create Your Own Shabbat Service at Home
• Tuesday, June 10 at 6 pm – RTPV Congregational Annual Meeting – In person and on Zoom
• Thursday, June 12 lunch with Rabbi Symons at noon at the home of Stacy Nunberg and Paul Bugbee on beautiful Lake Oscawana. The address will be provided upon your RSVP.  The rain date is Tuesday, 6/24.  Car pools are encouraged as parking is limited and comfortable footwear is necessary because there are steps.  Please bring a dairy or vegetarian dish or dessert to share. • Friday, June 13 – Shabbat service in-person at RTPV with Rabbi Symons at 7 pm

• Saturday, June 21 Shalom, Shabbat children’s program in person at the temple with Rabbi Symons at 11 am – noon. For our final class of the academic year we will have an All-6-Pointed Star Year End Party.
All are welcome. Anyone new to the temple will be asked to show photo ID at the door.
• Friday, June 27  – Dairy/Vegetarian Potluck Dinner & Outdoor Musical Shabbat evening service in person with Rabbi Symons and Laura Copel. Address provided upon your RSVP to rtpvinfo@gmail.com
